Visitors often ask us how near our campsite is to Weston-super-Mare beach. The answer is less than 3 miles - but how long is the drive? And what's the journey like?

Parking near Weston-super-Mare beach

Marine Parade and Royal Sands Beach Car Park are ideally located for visitors who want to enjoy the beach or see the Grand Pier. Located adjacent to Weston-super-Mare beach, these ‘pay and display’ car parking spaces provide instant access to the beach.

For a more central location, The Sovereign Shopping Centre is located between the High Street and Weston-super-Mare Seafront, with 800 parking spaces. And Grove Park Car Park and Melrose Car Park are both a short walk from Weston beach.

Travelling from our campsite to Weston-super-Mare beach by bus

If you’re relying on public transport to travel to Weston-super-Mare beach, you’ll be pleased to learn that local transport links are located right outside of our campsite. The number 20 bus provides a regular service to Weston-super-Mare, stopping at the Grand Pier.

Weston Golf Club

Weston-super-Mare Golf Club is an attractive golf course situated at the southern end of Weston Bay, with superb views across the Bristol Channel.


The 18-hole course is an easy walk, with a traditional clubhouse and Pro Shop.

Tropicana

Weston’s iconic seafront location is a hub of arts and culture. This unique venue hosted Banksy’s Dismaland in 2015, and is now a popular venue for live music, theatre, comedy, events and exhibitions.

Revo Kitchen and Crazy Golf

This 9-hole indoor glow in the dark crazy golf course is located near The Grand Pier on Weston-super-Mare’s seafront. Whether you’re looking for a family activity or a fun date-night, Revo Glo Golf is a great option.

Weston Wheel

Offering breathtaking views across Weston Bay and the Bristol Channel, this 40m tall Observation Wheel is an absolute must for any visitor to the town.

Pirate Adventure Land

Search for treasure whilst taking on this 18-hole adventure golf course! Not for the faint of hearted, Pirate Adventure Land is also home to a high ropes course, plank walk and The Shark Bite Grill.

Bistrot Pierre

Dine at Bistrot Pierre and enjoy freshly prepared French food with panoramic sea views from their first-floor outdoor balcony. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

The Grand Pier

No trip to Weston-super-Mare would be complete without a visit to The Grand Pier. With rides, attractions and the latest arcade games, a day out at The Grand Pier is the perfect treat for kids of all ages.

Water Adventure and Play Park
The Water Adventure and Play Park is perfect for younger children. Located at the Marine Lake end of the seafront, the water park has fountains and sprays triggered by sensors and buttons.

The wooden play equipment includes the Stockholm Castle, a double cable way and a toddler area where there's a short tunnel to crawl through. A sand pit is located near the rear of the park along with a climbing pyramid and snake swing.

We are ecstatic to share that West Country Parks have been named the Hospitality and Tourism Business of the Year at the prestigious Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards 2024. This award is intended to recognise the Hospitality & Tourism business that is the most successful in Sedgemoor, detailing what makes them stand out from other businesses and how they attract customers to the area. We were also named as finalists for the Sustainable Business Award in recognition of our efforts to reduce our businesses carbon footprint. Speaking about the awards, Roger Smith, General Manager at the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce, said; 'This year, we’ve received a record-breaking number of high-quality entries, leading to 67 incredible finalists. This outstanding response highlights the immense talent, creativity, and innovation within our local business community'.  We are thrilled to share that our family orientated holiday park, Riverside Holiday Village, was crowned winner of the Customer Choice Food Award for Family Fun Destinations at the staycation specialist’s 18th annual Awards – a celebration of the holiday parks, lodge resorts and boating locations in the company’s UK portfolio that have achieved the highest scores in independent guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2024 season. Commenting after the awards were announced during a ceremony at the Hilton Metropole, in Birmingham David Tattersall, Group Manager at Riverside Holiday Village said: “It’s fantastic to be recognised for the quality of our food and it’s a testament to everyone on the team who works so hard to make sure our guests have the best possible experience when they stay with us. We are very aware that they place an enormous amount of faith in us when they choose where to go on holiday, so it’s great to know we’re getting it right."
