The Rodney Stoke Caravan and Camping Park is perfect for those searching for a picturesque adult only campsite. Located at the foot of the Mendip Hills, the stunning Cheddar Gorge and Caves are less than 3 miles from our Cheddar campsite. Surrounded by open countryside, with lots of walking trails and nearby activities to enjoy, Rodney Stoke is the perfect campsite for lovers of the great outdoors!

Alternatively, our family orientated holiday park near Weston-super-Mare is the perfect base for families or couples who want to enjoy the many attractions that this Victorian seaside town has to offer. Camping pitches at Riverside Holiday Village are located at the back of the park overlooking the river and visitors will have full access to the parks many facilities including our indoor heated swimming pool, bar and clubhouse, adventure play area and seasonal fishing.

  • When are your Somerset campsites open?

    Riverside Holiday Village near Weston-super-Mare is open from February to January. However, camping at Riverside Holiday Village is only available during the main school holidays. 


    The Rodney Stoke Caravan and Camping Park in Cheddar is open all year (Jan - Dec).

  • Can I bring my dog camping?

    Yes, both of our Somerset campsites welcome responsible pet owners.


    Visitors to Riverside Holiday Village may bring their pets into a designated dog friendly area in the clubhouse, as well as the beer garden and clubhouse conservatory. Find out more about our dog policy.

  • Do you accept touring caravans at your Somerset campsites?

    Riverside Holiday Village is open to campers and motorhomes, unfortunately we cannot facilitate short-stay touring caravans at our Weston-super-Mare campsite.


    Caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome at The Rodney Stoke Caravan and Camping Park in Cheddar.
