2. The Original Cheddar Cheese Company

No trip to Cheddar would be complete without sampling some local Cheddar Cheese!

3. Cheddar Village

Picturesque Cheddar village is well worth exploring. There are plenty of tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops where you can pick up souvenirs, walking gear and, of course, more Cheddar cheese!

The lower gorge (on your way out of the village) also boasts a series of mini waterfalls as you head towards the Cliff Road, and the Market Cross dates back to the fifteenth century.

4. Cheddar Reservoir

Supplied with water from the Cheddar Yeo River in Cheddar Gorge, Cheddar Reservoir is perfect for visitors who want to try their hand at some managed water sports! Paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing are just some of the activities on offer through the Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club.
